MICROBIOME

There are trillions of microorganisms living in your intestinal tract that make up your gut microbiota. Through a detailed nutrition and health history and functional lab work, we’ll gain a thorough understanding of any imbalances that exist in your gut microbiome. In some cases, people don’t have enough “good” bacteria, in other cases there may not be a wide variety of bacterial species in the gut, both are important factors for a healthy microbiome. These imbalances can result from a variety of diet and lifestyle factors and can often explain why you struggle to tolerate so many foods. Using a holistic approach, we’ll implement interventions to restore and rebalance your microbiome.

NUTRITION

There’s no one size fits all approach when it comes to nutrition for gut health. What works for your friend, might send you running to the closest bathroom. Nutrition can play a key role in symptom management, but often clients resort to skipping meals or eliminating too many foods which can actually WORSEN gut issues. During our time together, we’ll develop of plan that fits your preferences and your lifestyle, while ensuring you have all the nutrients you need to support improved health and wellness. The goal is always as few restrictions as possible to keep eating simple and satisfying.

MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness is an essential, yet often overlooked component of achieving and maintaining optimal gut health. I’ll teach you how to integrate effective mindfulness practices that reduce stress and improve digestive function to strengthen the gut-brain connection. As you master mindfulness techniques, you’ll start to notice the close link between your thoughts and emotions and how they impact digestive function. Over time, you’ll become an expert at listening to and understanding the innate wisdom of your body, allowing you to rely on internal vs external cues to nourish yourself.

Meet Claire

Thanks for dropping by! I’m Claire, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist on a mission to help you heal from chronic digestive problems. I help people with digestive distress eliminate bloating and pain so they can feel their best every day while enjoying the foods they love. Unlike restrictive diets that offer temporary relief at best, I help my clients uncover the root cause of their symptoms and heal their gut with my 5 step method, allowing them to quickly achieve lasting digestive wellness. With expertise in digestive health and the Intuitive Eating framework, I use a combination of holistic approaches to help clients manage chronic GI conditions and make peace with food once and for all.

This is how you get started:

Schedule your FREE, 20 minute strategy call. During your complimentary call, you’ll get to tell me more about your specific situation and what you need help with. I’ll answer any questions you have about working together and then we’ll decide which package is right for you!

The next step is to book your initial nutrition consultation. Our first session together is an opportunity for me to understand the “full picture.” During this 60 minute session, I will be doing a lot of listening while you tell your story. I’ll also ask a lot of questions about your goals, vision & health history. By the end, we’ll have a clear plan for how to move forward.

Since we work together for 3-6 months at a time, we’ll build a strong therapeutic relationship that guarantees a successful transformation. Bi-weekly nutrition sessions are held via a HIPAA compliant video platform or phone. You’ll have access to unlimited support between sessions.
